SAT阅读常见题型及解题技巧

    SAT阅读题型考察点是多样性的，学会辨认题目的考点，明白题目中究竟是想要考哪一方面。我们可以将SAT的考点类型分为六类。

　　一.Main Idea-主旨题

　　1. 考察点：考察的是文章的中心思想

　　2. 提问方式
　　Ø The main point of the passage is to
　　Ø The passage is primarily concerned with
　　Ø The author’s primary purpose in this passage is to
　　Ø The chief theme of the passage can be best described as
　　Ø Which of the following titles best describes the content of the passage?
　　Ø Which of the following statements best expresses the main idea of the passage?

　　3. 解题技巧
　　在做主旨题的时候，返回原文查看文章的开头和结尾部分。在阅读文章的时候，注意每一段的首位都是重点部分，这些部分往往是对整段的概括，中心内容，从中往往能很快找到作者的观点。注意那些连接词，比如：furthermore, moreover, notably, and significantly，这些词的后面往往也会引出文中的主旨。

　　值得注意的是，SAT文章中一般不会直接给出文章的主旨句，这个时候，小伙伴们可以想想以下几个问题：
　　1) 这篇文章是关于什么的?或者是关于谁的?
　　2) 作者关于这个事物共说了几个方面?
　　3) 作者通过这篇文章想要说明什么?或者是想要告诉读者什么?
　　在做“主旨题”或者是“文章目的”时，要注意以下词汇的表达，都是关于这类题型的提问方式。不要因为不理解题目的问法而理解错了题目。

　　二.Specific Details-细节题

　　1. 考察点：理解作者明确表明的一些细节问题

　　2. 提问方式
　　Ø According to the author
　　Ø The author states all of the following EXCEPT
　　Ø According to the passage, which of the following is true of the
　　Ø According to the passage, the chief characteristic of the subject is
　　Ø Which of the following statements is (are) best supported by the passage?
　　Ø Which of the following is NOT cited in the passage as evidence of

　　3. 解题技巧
　　当题目问道细节题时，我们通常应该注意3点
　　1) 要注意问题当中的关键字(动词或者名词)
　　2) 返回原文快速定位关键词或者是它的近义词，
　　3) 定位文中的关键词后，重新再读一遍先关的句子，确保这不是出题人故意利用相同的单词来迷惑考生。

　　通常，我们在做细节题目时，要注意以下重点词汇
　　aesthetic indicative
　　allusion inherent
　　assumption innate
　　attribute innovative
　　divergent misconception
　　fluctuate phenomenon
　　hypothetical preclude incompatible

　　三.Inferences-推断题

　　1. 考察点：考察的是作者表达的隐含意义，这就需要考生进行一个推理的过程。若果项中有的答案是直接能从原文中找到的往往不是正确答案，所谓隐含意义就是从文中已有的信息推断出隐含的信息。
　　2. 提问方式
　　Ø It can be inferred from the passage that
　　Ø The passage suggests that the author would support which of the following views?
　　Ø The author implies that
　　Ø The author apparently feels that
　　Ø According to the passage, it is likely that
　　Ø The passage is most likely directed toward an audience of
　　Ø Which of the following statements about...can be inferred from the passage?

　　3. 解题技巧
　　在做推断题的时候，注意答案一定不是作者在文中直接表明的观点，而是通过间接表达，需要读者通过推测得出答案的。这就需要考生们自己进行判断。

　　在做推断题时，要注意以下的这些词汇：
　　criterion likelihood
　　derive overrated
　　excerpt plausible
　　implication suggestive
　　imply tentative

　　四.Tone/Attitude-语气、态度题

　　1. 考察作者针对某个事件或是人物的态度，看法。
　　2. 提问方式
　　Ø The author’s attitude to the problem can best be described as
　　Ø Which of the following best describes the author’s tone in the passage?
　　Ø The author’s tone in the passage is that of a person attempting to
　　Ø The author’s presentation is marked by a tone of
　　Ø The passage indicates that the author experiences a feeling of
　　3.解题技巧
　　在做态度/语气题时，注意文章中的那些表示情感，价值观的词，主语作者使用的形容词，比如说是：fragrant, tranquil, magnanimous 这些表示褒义的词汇，还有例如：fetid, ruffled, stingy等这类表示贬义的词汇。

　　表示态度/语气题的词汇有以下多种表达：
　　aloof indifference
　　ambivalent ironic
　　brusque judicious
　　cautionary naive
　　compassionate nostalgia
　　condescension objective

　　五.Vocabulary in Context-词汇题

　　1. 考察点：词汇在文中的意思，这类的单词意思往往不是它通常的意思，而是在具体情境当中的某一个意思。

　　2. 提问方式
　　Ø As it is used in the passage, the term...can best be described as
　　Ø The phrase...is used in the passage to mean that
　　Ø In the passage, the word...means
　　Ø The author uses the phrase...to describe

　　3. 解题技巧
　　碰到词汇题时，根据词汇的上下文猜测词汇的意思。一个单词的意思很多，SAT阅读考试中的词汇题考察的是词汇在具体情境中的意思，有的时候考察单词的意思并不是我们熟悉的意思，这个是后就要根据上下文来推断词汇在这里的意思。

　　六.Technique-文章中写作手法

　　1. 考察点：这里主要考察的是英语当中的某些写作技巧或者是文章结构的组织方式。

　　2. 提问方式
　　Ø Which of the following best describes the development of this passage?
　　Ø In presenting the argument, the author does all of the following EXCEPT...
　　Ø The relationship between the second paragraph and the first paragraph can best be described as...

　　3. 解题技巧
　　熟悉对文章结构描述的术语，另外一个了解作者观点的方法就是明白作者是对文章结构的组织形式，那么，考生就必须知道文章的首句或者是每一个段落是如何组织形成一篇完整的文章。

　　在做方法技巧或者是风格形式时，要注意以下这些词汇
　　abstract explanatory
　　analogy expository
　　antithesis generalization
　　argumentative narrative
　　assertion persuasive
　　cite rhetorical
　　thesis concrete
　　evidence
